We offer a 100% guarantee. If you are not happy with your product, send it back to us within 14 days of the date of delivery and we will replace it for you as long as the item is unused and in its original condition. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantees Act. Any problems with furniture freight company should be notified within 48 hours of delivery by email or phone. We will repair or replace any transit damage. Sorry, we cannot accept returns on any customised/personalised items. Freight is non-refundable.

We provide a 5 Year Warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty can be provided because we only deal with manufacturers who use high quality materials and precision craftsmanship to produce furniture to the highest standards.




Furniture Care

Caring for and preserving your fine wood furniture is not as difficult as it may seem. As Oak and Rimu are natural products, some variations in colour, texture and grain may occur. However, the life of your furniture can be enhanced by following:

  • Avoid prolonged exposure of furniture to direct sunlight and excessive heat which may cause timber to contract.
  • For cleaning, simply wipe with a damp cloth or dust using a soft dry cloth.
  • If you wish to polish your furniture, ensure that the product does not contain silicone as this makes re-polishing very difficult should damage occur.
  • Soak up liquid spills immediately without rubbing the surface.
  • Do not place hot dishes, pots, cups, mugs, etc. directly onto lacquered surface.



Delivery & Freight

Delivery is FREE to your door for orders over $500 to all major cities and towns in New Zealand.* For orders less than $500, there is a standard freight charge of $80 to the South Island and $95 to the North Island.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for order completion and 5 working days for freight delivery.

*If you live in a rural area, there will be a small charge for delivery on your order, approximately $2 per kilometre from the nearest town. For example, if you live 10km from your main centre, allow $20 for delivery. For Further info or an accurate quote for freight, contact us from here.

All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). NZ Design Living Limited reserves the right to alter prices. However, the price confirmed at the time of ordering will NOT be altered.




Ordering & Payment

Ordering from NZ design is quick and easy using our online shopping cart. We accept VISA and MasterCard.

We are using the Direct Payment Solution (DPS) to process all the credit card payment transaction.

DPS have a dedicated and purpose built development and data centre, specially designed for payments processing. DPS have invested and continue to re-invest in state of the art, bank grade security and infrastructure. DPS are fully certified as Visa AIS and MasterCard SDP (PCI-DSS) compliant at processor level; using an approved QSA for quarterly scans on systems and full onsite audits, annually. All sensitive information is encrypted with the 3DES protocol, with Atalla Network Security Processors. Data Centre:
Transaction availability (ability to communicate a declined/accepted response) is determined by significant number of factors including whether the bank (either acquiring or issuing) is online. Wherever possible, DPS has taken control of its mission critical systems (building and data centre environment, generator, UPS etc), or DPS has out sourced to the best available provider, with a backup provider.

Internet:
DPS owns all internal networking and firewall hardware and all single points of failure are eliminated wherever possible; Cisco firewall's provide seamless fail over (<5 seconds with all sessions preserved) in the event of a primary firewall hardware failure and individual routers are employed. The network is multi-homed; DPS’ primary Internet connection is via Telecom DDS to Telecom IPNet with a hot backup via United Networks Fibre optic cable (25m physical separation) to AT&T Global. Telecom Advanced Solutions was engaged by DPS to design and implement the system and Telecom LAN link is engaged to provide a central 24*7 management for both the Telecom and AT&T routers.

Testing:
DPS provides 24*7*365 free developer testing access. Our test environment accurately mirrors the behaviour of the production region. Email support is available for developers.

Customisation:
DPS has full ownership of the source code for all its supplied components, core transaction systems and acquirer uplinks. DPS will customise or extend the functionality of components to better suit the merchant requirements. As a rule, DPS will extend an existing component in a manner that is backward compatible with existing component releases and will own the extensions. The benefits for the merchant are a wider base of users for a component and no cost to maintain compatibility (e.g.: upgrade to support a new version of Operating system or JVM) over the lifetime of the software.

All payment information is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is the system used by all legitimate shopping sites world wide. It is almost impossible for an unauthorised party to seize the encrypted data. You will know that your details are being safeguarded by looking for the padlock or unbroken key that will appear at the bottom of your browser whenever you are providing us with personal information. SSL is the industry standard for the transmission of credit card details. Your information is encrypted using a complex mathematical algorithm before being sent over the Internet.
